“Times of Upheaval” was the theme chosen two years ago by the festival organizers for the Kurt Weill Festival 2023 in commemoration of the Golden Twenties, which was an exciting era, full of tension, contradictory lifestyles and political change. Today the theme is as relevant as it was 100 years ago.
